10x10 2020 Questions

I suggest you run for the Board.

What’s the latest on your 10x10 Show? Has a date been established?

dagron no 10x10, dagron need mor blue tape

I would need “another frivolous, passive-aggressive, won’t-ever-pass agenda item” to get a 10x10 in to action. Honestly, seeing the reaction, I’m not sure ya’ll care about coming together. I mean calling me names and being disrespectful.

Except everything I said was true. If someone repeatedly drops their candy wrappers on the ground and someone calls them a “litterbug”, is that “name-calling” and “disrespectful”? Or is it just the truth?

So you’re no longer going to lead the 10x10 Show this year?

Do you honestly think that telling a lie is the only way to be disrespectful?
Lets talk about this in another thread and not be a litterbug here.

Draco doesn’t want us to come together, he wants to have it his way. The fact is the space has come together, and it’s in the opposite direction of him and his banned friends.

I haven’t been put in charge of one. With all the abuse that I’ve endured and the attitude I’ve seen. I’m not certain I want to be around any of you for long. Again, if you want to discuss the 10x10 or the abuse, open a new thread.

EDIT: this post was moved to a new 10x10 thread

To my knowledge, in the past, the needs of the 10x10 shows have been addressed at the committee level: creative arts (show host) and PR (open house host). Not the board level. The directors are likely to refer you to the committee.
(@Team_Moderators, would you spin off the 10x10 replies into a separate thread?)

Traditionally, yes. It was my understanding as an internal item, this was to be now handled by Member Services.

Thanks for the update and confirming that 10x10 is a committee-level project.

Draco’s comment could dissuade potential organizers by misleading them to think high-level red tape stands in the way when it doesn’t.

What was the agenda item going to be?

It was going to be a proposal and plan. The general idea of the 10x10 was a way for people to get over differences and to come together. That would be the theme. It would ask permission to run a website for signup and ask for approval that the theme was appropriate and that I could be in charge of the project. As many people would be working together, as detailed in the plan, we would need to work out social distancing and ways to collaborate.

More sophistry/misdirection/trolling by you…@heyheymama didn’t say (write), or even imply, that you intended it, only that an unwary reader might be misled by it, which is a completely true and reasonable statement.

I’d really love to, but one of the reasons I don’t completely mute you, @Draco, is because there is such a clear need to keep an eye out for just this type of buffoonery. The misleading, misguided, manipulative, and harmful statements or ideas you often try to pass off here like counterfiet $20 bills need to be called out and highlighted and pushed back, otherwise forum readers, especially new ones, might get hornswoggled by them.

At this point … who cares? You are nitpicking.

You accused Stephanie of being misleading, and the tone of your statement, via italics you chose, was that she was doing it purposefully:

I chose to address your unfair accusation and demonstrated it was false. How is this “nitpicking”, exactly? I call it “setting the record straight.”

It’s all a conspiracy, everyone hates me…

No need for a conspiracy here. Many people have openly said they don’t want me here.
