100 lb Peter Wright (0/3/16 hundredweight scale) London pattern Blacksmithing anvil.
- top is flat
- horn not snubbed
- table in good shape
- some rounding on sides but not excessive for its age
- has Pritchel hole and 7/8” Hardy hole
- no chips or chunks missing
- 60% or better rebound across face
- no dead zones observed
- comes with a stand and two 3/4” (loose fitting) hot cut Hardy tools.
Ruler for scale in pics has 12” long leg.
Asking $500. Would make a good starting anvil or traveling anvil. At 100lbs, it’s one-man liftable (barely), but you wouldn’t want to carry it far.
FWIW, I think the price is fair: I paid $500 for my 107 lb Peter Wright a few years ago, with a snubbed horn and no stand.
