1 Large, Steel Shelving Unit up for grabs. If anybody wants the disassembled shelving unit currently in the Science Space, they have a day or so to remove it.

Would you be referring to a pallet rack (two large uprights and crossbeams like project storage)?

If the shelving units, I’m sure Erik would like it. The pallet storage area would also benefit, which may be what Brandon has in mind (or Blacksmithing maybe)

Yes, pallet rack. I’m used to thinking of them as those monster shelves. We just need to remove the disassembled unit from our area but keep the one that is still assembled.
If it hasn’t been claimed before tonight, I’ll look and see if it fits my needs in Fired Arts. If I can assemble it so that the current shelving fits under it, that might be very helpful.

I hope these help out if they can! I believe DMS is going to get very innovative with storage and space solutions. From my self-taught, quasi- to semi- professional experience as a designer, one thing I’ve learned (that’s prob pretty obvious actually) is that going vertical is always the first, best, simplest solution to optimizing limited square area. Personally I’d like to see these pallet racks or something professionally manufactured used for automated, crane delivery of pallets or work surfaces… but I have been known to have one or two overly lofty ideas in the past hehe
