Warped Sheet Metal - Easy Fix?

I’m in the middle of a cargo van conversion and got a little overzealous with the Great Stuff foam. It overfilled the ribs and warped the exterior appearance a little. I scraped it all out and the ripples/bulges have gone down but are still there. Is this something I can easily fix at DM, or should I just take the van to a dent place?

Any helpful info is appreciated. Note: I’m not an auto pro at all, so if the fix is more diffucult than EASY, I’ll take it to the dent place. I don’t want to mess up my van any more than it already is.

The picture is the appearance before I scraped out the foam.

Thanks!
Paul

Ouch.

My recommendations is the dent place. They’ll have the experience to do it without cracking the paint.

It’s hindsight, but you should spray the foam and shave it down flush before you put the inner wall on.

Try the Low Expansion next time, that might keep it from happening. It will have to be “massaged” out likely, PDR. I don’t believe we have that equipment.

User Nacho donated a body hammer kit.

But, without practice I’d still recommend a PDR person.

I knew he donated that but it’s not the right tools for PDR

OK, off to the dent people I go. haha! Thanks for the insight, everyone.
