We’re looking for Electronic Technicians with meaningful board level troubleshooting experience - You would serve in a lead role within the department in collaboration with other Sr. staff and Jr. Technicians debugging test setups, improving processes, identifying manufacturing defects for rework, documentation editing and control, etc. Awesome contract manufacturing environment with tons of opportunity to develop skills, play with some neat gear, neat product, and neat people. Krypton Solutions is hiring for a Senior Test Technician. The Senior Test Technician is responsible for testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying prototype and production electronic components, production boards, equipment, and systems, such as computer equipment, and test equipment. You will apply principles and theories of electronics, electrical circuitry, engineering mathematics, electronic and electrical testing.

Responsibilities:

Discusses layout and assembly procedures and problems with Krypton Design Engineers and Customer Engineers; draws sketches to clarify design details and functional criteria of electronic units
Instructs or guides test technicians on test instructions
Assembles prototype circuitry or complete prototype model according to Krypton or customer engineering instructions, technical manuals, and knowledge of electronic systems and components
Recommends changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance
Sets up standard test apparatus or devises test equipment and circuitry to conduct functional, operational, environmental, and life tests to evaluate performance and reliability of prototype or production model
Analyzes and interprets test data
Adjusts, aligns, and modifies circuitry and components, records effects on unit performance.
Maintains test procedures and test documentation as required
May check functioning of newly installed equipment to evaluate system performance under actual operating conditions
May provide product support to customers
Skills & Experience:

Minimum of 4 years in manufacturing and/or production of printed circuit boards
Minimum of 4 years of test technician experience
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documentation and technical procedures
Ability to write business correspondence and technical procedures
Education:

Associates Degree in a technical field
Completion of IPC-A-610 is preferred
