Dyes! Paints! Maybe some alcohol inks! Maybe we could make some super cool new crayons? I don’t know, ideas abound!

I think it is really cool that CA is giving Science $150 towards part of the cost if getting this new materials and seeing what we can do with it. This is a great example of cross-pollination between Makers at DMS.

Last night I spoke with a gentleman that makes inks about this. He says he’d be interested in making some pen ink when the pigment is ready.

I’d be interested in a modest amount to mix with resin to fill Lichtenberg figures (lightning bolts) burned into a wood project.
Once complete, I’d be willing to display the work at DMS for a while.
