HAAS recommends that no tools be left in the tool changer (but we do) so that drying fluids don’t cause it to stick or rust. More so when the water ratio is low and coolant takes on a thick consistency. While I don’t buy into it entirely I do see the point in a long period of no use. Hence the tool change program. It and the spindle warm-up should never be deleted.
