Freud plastic cutting blade on the SawStop?

Is the Freud plastic cutting blade supported on the SawStop

I cut thick pieces of acrylic and also Aluminum composite material sheets and would prefer to see another Delta or non SawStop table saw, as I don’t think the Freud plastics blade is supported on the SawStop.

I’m not sure about the plastic blade or acrylic parts of your question, but aluminum clad sheets obviously wouldn’t work on the SawStop without the bypass.

Availability of the bypass is unclear.

No metal is allowed to be cut in the woodshop. A laminate or plastics blade is fine for acrylic, just make sure you clean any gunk left over from the dust collection port.
