Does anyone make Damascus Blades like this? Would this be popular if someone could teach a class on this?

IIRC, both @EthanWestern and @brsims have both done some limited amounts of pattern steel at DMS. I’m planning to try some canister steel (using ball bearings and fish hooks) after the holidays.
Muscle memory for hammering and some understanding of the underlying metallurgy is needed for success. Watching “Forged in Fire” would help gain an appreciation of the frustrations involved.
