DMS Motor Sports organizing for 24hour Lemons race

DMS Motor Sports Committee will be attending the November 24 Hours of LeMons race.
The event will be held November 9-10-11, at MSR Houston.

The Motor Sports Committee will be meeting Thursday, August 30 at 7pm for discussions and Q&A on the event, the committee plans to attend, the race plan, and logistics. There are many ways to participate; as drivers, pit crew, team support, videographer, communications, spotter, big truck transport, etc.

Members interested in participating in the event, please attend the Thursday 7pm meeting and also attend the next working meeting on the 240SX race car Saturday 11am, September 1. We hope to pull the engine to do some maintenance and modification.

Worst timing…EVER! Damn, have wanted to do this for the last 3+ years, but I guess I will be waiting until the spring. Already have plans for the 10th, bought my tickets to Billy Gibbons at Billy Bob’s the moment they went on sale. Would still be willing to help work on the car and shake down the ride w/ some test runs.
