For those at the sewing SIG, we wanted to create a curriculum development class/event where we could walk new instructors through development of curriculum for project classes, and create a standard slide deck/narrative/curriculum for required training classes. I want to know what day and time work best for everyone, and if you’ve taught a sewing class, I’d love y’all’s input on the class curriculum.

I taught when I lived in California. I haven’t taught yet here. I cannot come on weekends.

I haven’t yet taught any classes at DMS. And adult education is its own beast, but I am a certified teacher and have 12 years of classroom experience. Two of the classes I taught were new to the district so I designed and refined the curriculum for both of them. Since I’ve retired, my schedule is wide open.
