You are correct. You do not need voting rights for the Chair elections.
Laser Committee will meet Wednesday 10/18 at 8pm in the laser area. I’d like to remain as chair through the new lasers getting up and running (Novemberish), but am open to someone else taking over after that.
We’re holding the committee meeting to ratify online voting: https://calendar.dallasmakerspace.org/events/view/4120
This meeting needs to be held before the BOD meeting on Fri Oct 20.
Could the following committees please provide an update?
@Team_Vector
@Team_Digital_Media
@Team_Aerospace
@Team_Automotive
@Team_Blacksmithing
@Team_Education
@Team_Civic_Hacking
FYI, Joseph was relected chair for jewelry.
Stephen Wylie was reelected chairman of Civic Hacking, a consensus committee.
What’s a consensus committee? I would have liked to attend a meeting of Civic Hacking.
I’m calling for a vote for the Digital Media Chairperson as soon as possible. I nominate Coulson for chair. He has my confidence and support.
