From what I understand, typing Braille is a sought after high paying side gig for a bunch of people. This is really amazing. I have a real softspot in the maker-disability-into-ability movement.
Unrelated side note- I lost an ebay bid on a lot of Braille playboys years ago. I thought they would be a perfectly fun thing to have around the house.

Braille could be easily etched out with the lasers.
Either way it was a treasure.
There are no pictures in the Braille version of Playboy, it’s the stories, articles, bios, and the captions of the photos that remain.
I wouldn’t be surprised there’s an app for that
