The Volunteer Opportunities category is a place for Committees and the Board of Directors to post volunteer opportunities at Dallas Makerspace.
NOTE: This category is NOT for discussion threads. Any “discussion” will be split out by one of the TALK Moderators to create a separate “discussion thread”.
How it works:

A volunteer opportunity at Dallas Makerspace is posted by a committee (by the current committee chairperson or other member authorized by the current chair) or board member (on behalf of the Board of Directors), including as much detail as possible so volunteers will have full understanding of what they are volunteering for. [Only one (1) volunteer opportunity per thread.]

A volunteer replies to the thread to take ownership of the volunteer opportunity.

The volunteer updates the thread when they have completed the volunteer opportunity - whether it’s a single activity, or stepping down from an ongoing activity.

The thread gets closed.
